In the End

This is a short poem that I came up with and I think it can be a sung to a heavy music. I came up with the words as I was praying a few years back, and recently it came to the forefront as I was praying and was urged to write it down. Now I will share it with you, and I hope you find it, at least, interesting. Thank you

In the End

In the end there is only me and you

In the end there is only me and you

In the end there is only me and you

Jesus says

“This is my body broken for you.

This is my blood flowing to heal you.

You seek to find while I stand reaching out for you.”

In the end there is only You and me

In the end there is only You and me

In the end there is only you and me

Jesus says

“This is my body broken for you.

This is my blood flowing to heal you.

You find and see while I reach out to hold you.”

In the end there is only You

In the end there is only You

In the end there is only You

Jesus

Good Friday, The Heaviness of Silence

Good Friday has come again, and another year is passing us by.  I was at church today for the Good Friday Services, Rosary, Stations, Reflection on the Passion and Bible Readings.  The tone was hushed and silent, prayerful and reflective.  The altar space was all cleared off last night after the Holy Thursday Mass, which I was glad to assist in clearing, and have done it in years past.  So today there was nothing left, except the bare altar, and the empty tabernacle with doors open, which impressed on me the further emptiness.

Why does Santa HATE poor people?

I blame my sister Rita for bringing about this question. Okay blame is a little harsh but she started the thought from a conversation we had a month ago. She was telling me about someone that we know that was informing their children that they will get good(expensive) presents from Santa if they are good. My sister has young children, so she was telling me the way she will handle it.  She will tell her children that what Santa gets them will not be big but something that they would enjoy because Santa has to get gifts for children all over the world. So some of the other gifts would be from parents, grad parents and so on, which could possibly be bigger, more expansive.

I thought that she had the right idea in teaching her kids that Santa is not a wishing well and you will not get whatever you want, but things needed.

Jesus “If you Love me….” You Want me to Do What?

In thinking on the word LOVE, which is misused in our society today, I was saying to myself okay I want to Love and want to be loved.  Ultimately God shows us perfect Love, Divine Love, which transcends all human love.  Okay God loves me and He gave me His only begotten Son, Jesus, to die for my sins out Love for me.  So now I want to return that Love and how do I do that, does the Bible tell me?  Does Jesus tell me?

Will I meet Hitler in heaven?

People might be a little taken aback by the question, but trust me it stems from a few conversions that I have had with people about heaven.

In those conversations people have told me that there is no hell, but that everyone goes to heaven.  The claim on that statement is that God is Love and he is merciful and does not want to see anyone in hell.
